Product support comes first when we are considering a new service. Do yourself a favour and choose Ollie, we have found the support to be second to none.

I was already in love with the product, but the after-sales support was what sealed the deal for me!

What we offer

Assessments that see the whole child

We explore cognitive, emotional, behavioural and neurodevelopmental needs whilst never losing sight of the person at the centre. Our assessments tell the full story - celebrating strengths alongside addressing difficulties.

Understanding trauma and neurodivergence

We see behaviour as communication. Whether showing signs of trauma, neurodivergence or both, we look for the 'why' behind what we observe. We're not here to fix children - we're here to understand, support and celebrate them.

Reports that genuinely help

Written with care teams, schools and families in mind, our reports are practical, clear and focused on what truly matters. We always ask ourselves: "What would I want to know if this were my child?"

Working where we're needed

From the Highlands to Cornwall, we travel to where children are, supporting care-experienced young people across the UK through local authorities, agencies, children's homes and schools.

Level 1
Initial Psychometric Screening

  • Review of referral and existing assessments/reports
  • Conversation with carers, school and social worker to understand presenting needs.
  • Psychometric screening led by a member of the clinical assessment team, to include:

    • ADHD (Swanson, Nolan & Pelham (Snap IV)
    • ASD (Autism Spectrum Rating Scales (ASRS)
    • Mental Health (Revised Child Anxiety & Depression Scale (RCADS)
  • Brief written report summarising the results and offering further recommendations. This report can be used to inform EHCPs, support plans, NHS referrals and therapeutic interventions.

Level 2
ADHD assessment

Dependent on indications from the initial screening a full ADHD assessment can be offered.

  • Where ADHD is indicated further assessment using QbCheck (see nice guidance) is available.
  • Referral to psychiatrist
  • Completion of developmental history and psychometrics
  • Diagnostic interview
  • Report
(any need for medication would be at an additional cost)

Level 3
Autism Assessment

Dependent on indications from the initial screening a full autism assessment can be offered.

  • Observation assessment with young person using ADOS-2 (in-person)
  • Developmental history interview using ADI-R with carers/parents/social worker (remote)
  • Multi-disciplinary team meeting and formulation
  • Written report and recommendations

Level 4
Full Neurodevelopmental assessment

  • Initial screening for ADHD, ASD & Trauma
  • Further assessment for ADHD using QbCheck (if required)
  • Autism assessment (where indicated)
  • Cognitive assessment (where indicated)
  • One post report review session with a Headsight Clinician

Level 5
Post diagnostic Support

Following a young person’s full assessment/diagnosis we are able offer 6 sessions over 12 months to support carers, social workers, education and the young person (where appropriate), to understand what the diagnosis means and to help implement the recommendations, thereby ensuring continuity and the best outcome post assessment.

Cognitive Assessment

  • In person assessment using WISC V
  • Interview with carers/social worker/school
  • Written report and recommendations
